The Zombie Legions and Those Darn Daleks

I've done this before, but it has been long enough that perhaps it's time to once again link to the two amateur Doctor Who movies that I helped make back in 1987 and 1988. My good friend Rick Hallock produced, recorded, and edited the two three-part episodes "The Zombie Legions" and "Those Darn Daleks," I directed them, and I also portrayed the Tom Baker incarnation of The Doctor in the first of the two movies. The Zombie Legions
After rescuing a stranded Earth spaceman and his bad-tempered alien companion from Sontarans on a desolate planet, the Doctor stumbles onto a plan back on Earth to turn the entire population into mind-controlled zombies.

Those Darn Daleks
The Doctor visits twentieth-century northern California, where a rather unlikely-looking set of "Household Helper Robots" is being hawked to unsuspecting consumers. Could an invasion of Earth be in the making?

I play The Doctor in the first movie and at the start of the second. I also have another rather different role in part 1 of the second movie, but I'll leave it to you to watch it and see for yourself.

Alas, I had a lot more hair (and a lot less weight) in those days.
