Kevin Needs His Sleep

I find that these days, if I can't get at least eight hours of sleep daily, I steadily start running down. I'm trying to not work too hard and to get enough sleep, because we have the Westercon trip at the end of this month, and while it's not a very long trip (seven days total including the first day out and the last day coming home) compared to the Worldcon trip, it still something for which I need to muster my energy.

Sleep is the least of the things I'm trying to get caught up on before Westercon.

My work schedule has actually shook out such that I could depart early and do things in the SLC area - and I'm stuck for thinking of anything much I want to do in SLC, or along the route either way.

If I was coming down from Portland, presumably via I-84, I might stop in Ogden to visit the Utah State Railroad Museum again.

The Golden Spike site was one of the few things I thought of. I could easily have spent more time there, but it wouldn't be nearly as much fun alone.
