All of the Sick Without the Fun of the Con

I wasn't able to attend FurCon on account of I was in Oregon with Lisa. At BASFA on Monday, it seemed a large number of the people there had been at FurCon. And most of them were sniffling and sneezing.

Yesterday afternoon I started feeling that cold and went home early. Today I was planning to work from home anyway -- the owner of the unit was coming by with an appraiser as they're trying to refinance it for lower interest payments -- but I think I would have done so anyway on account of of the sniffles, etc.

Oddly this time, I was recovering from a bad chest cold - so I actually felt myself getting -healthier- at-con, instead of the reverse.

But if you're coming down with contact con-crud, do the usual: lots of fluids, have some hot soup and sleep as much as possible.
