Second Time's the Charm

Yesterday, when I went to do my lab sample and was balked, there was nobody waiting and I was there less than ten minutes. This morning, the place was packed and I had to wait quite a while before they called me in to stick a needle in me. This time the paperwork was in order. It was the same lab technician as yesterday, so I got the opportunity to apologize for any offense I may have given. I explained that I wasn't angry -- I was hungry and was getting out as fast as possible in order to go get something to eat.
This blood draw was quite routine, and I complimented the technician on her technique. I barely felt the needle going in this time.
