Bulletin from Tonopah

kevin_standleeLisa called a few minutes ago to report that the truck is repaired. It was only a clogged fuel filter, which she said made her feel silly, because if she'd known that, she could have fixed it herself in just a few minutes with an inexpensive part, rather than spending $100 to have a mechanic do so, plus three hotel nights.
Speaking of hotels, she is here, in the eastern leg of the inverted V of the hotel. After following her directions to find where she was on the map, I described what I was seeing on the overhead photos, and quipped, "I can't make out the truck in the parking lot, though."
She said, "I'll go outside and wave, then."
She'll stay in Tonopah tonight and continue south tomorrow morning.
