Google Is Watching You

Yesterday I joked about not being able to see Lisa live on the Google map that included the hotel in which she was staying. But then I had a thought and looked up Mehama and then zoomed in. There's an roughly rectangular orange blob in the center of this view. That's Lisa's van.

I know that the photos of my neighborhood can't have been taken more recently than May of 2004, as you can still see my erstwhile SuperShuttle parked behind my apartment building.

Although they have since updated the pictures, I few years ago I could look at my parent's house in Albuquerque and there would be a white blob in the field behind the barn -- my sister's horse. At the time I noticed this, the horse had been gone for a year or so.
