No, no: my criticism is of life, not of your reportage! Life has very little concept of proper narrative, and lets me down constantly.
Your reportage, on the other hand, is never boring and engages me every time. Which I find interesting in itself, as I use trains but am not otherwise interested in them: but I have always found other people's expertise and fascination a fascination in itself. Like buymeaclue's posts on dressage lessons, f'rexample: I am not a horse-lover, I know nothing of the art of dressage, I barely understand her vocabulary sometimes let alone what it means in context, and yet her engagement engages me. I just love specialists, people who know what they're talking about. As you so clearly do.
