Rolling Again

The dealership called this afternoon while I was on the phone with Lisa. My van was ready to be picked up and they would send their shuttle over to fetch me. Not too long thereafter, I had my van back and the dealership had their $565, mostly in labor. (The part itself cost about $115, but I'm paying for them having figured out the problem as well as actually replacing the part.) The new fan runs just fine, and much quieter for the same airflow as well, so that's a good thing.

Date: 2010-02-07 07:34 am (UTC)Incidentally, I've been sent a preliminary floor plan for our show at Norwescon. You and Lisa have a look at http://www.flickr.com/photos/8638651@N07/4336255995/ and let me know if it works for you. The "tech table" near the top is closer to the 110V power outlets, so this layout should probably work even though it's the mirror-image of the normal set. Also, you and Lisas should be able to see the panelists better than usual this way.

Date: 2010-02-07 06:26 pm (UTC)Going back to the start of 2007, the figure is close to $10,000, again including all routine maintenance. Your question does prompt me to create a separate category in my Quicken accounts so I can distinguish "maintenance" expenses like oil changes with "repairs" like replacing the heater fan.
