The good news watching the Olympic curling coverage is that this time when the USA match went to an extra end, NBC didn't cut off the coverage as they did in the previous match.

The bad news is that the USA had the hammer in the extra end and still managed to lose. Again. Rats!

It was too good of an example of an elastic collision. A bit more momentum and both stones might have cleared the house.

Now, if the US can just managed to reverse this trend and will all of their remaining games, we'd still be in pretty good shape. (I don't know if 5 and 4 will be good enough for the medal round or not, probably depends on the other teams records).

America is now 0-6 in Curling right now from what I have read online. That is why I retweeted the 0-6 Curling tweet from Anime ALmanac earlier today.
