At tonight's BASFA meeting, the Tonopah in 2012 Westercon bid sold two "Go Nuclear" (Friend of Bid, $50) and one Pre-supporting ($10) membership. The Nuclear Option includes Tonopah in 2012 t-shirts. All memberships include refrigerator magnets. Magnets and shirts both feature the Bid logo design, as modeled by Kuma Bear on [livejournal.com profile] travelswithkuma's LJ. You can also see a version of the design here.

I don't have any more of the shirts with me in California, but Lisa will bring down the remaining shirts when she drives down next week and meets up with me before we go on to Pasadena. Remember, if you're interested in any shirt size other than L and 2XL, you need to let us know in advance so we can make one to order for you.

Ahh. Tonopah, Nevada, not Tonopah, California. That clears things up a bit.

Yep. I was unaware of a city by that name in California.

I err. Apparently its Tonopah, Arizona I'm thinking of, although I would have sworn there was a Tonopah California near the Mountain Warefare Training Center. When I was stationed at Fort Bliss several of my comrades were sent to "Tonopah" for TDY and much confusion ensued until they determined it was the Nevada site.
