I did Current Hugos, then Retro Hugos. And fight after I posted the last of my Retro Hugos, the polls closed. *whew* Now we wait for what is on the final ballot. Note - I gave up and put the An Adventure in Space and Time in both Long Form and Short Form. Let the admins figure it out. ;)
I didn't nominate; I read too little new material since I own about 1,000 books that I still haven't read. And I don't go to many movies. And there hasn't been much good sf on TV lately (and I never thought I would write those words),
Since I've got access to the database that is storing the nominations, I try to nominate early to ensure that I'm not unduly influenced by other's nominations.
As it turned out, this year I haven't been in the database as much as I was in 2012, but still it is better safe than sorry.
I know the feeling. I was at my local Books A Million last night, and finished submitting my ballot with less than 30 minutes to go before they closed. To make things even crazier, I started by putting my Hugo nominees on the Retro Hugo ballot. Fortunately, I realized my mistake before I clicked the Submit button.
