Oil Right

I continue to check the oil level in the Rolling Stone due to the constant, but tiny, drippage that accumulates under the RV. Based on the level after the vehicle has sat in one place since Monday evening, I conclude that the problem is that Jiffy Lube put in too much oil when they did a complete fluid change, because despite the drips, the dipstick still shows full and then some.

Having the dipstick show overfull is definitely a sign it's overfull. But even if it's overfull it really shouldn't be leaking, it means there's a gasket or connection somewhere that's not quite sealed. The oil pan gasket is the prime suspect, since if the oil's overfull it's coming up to or even past the top of the oil pan thus making it possible to leak out while it's just sitting there. See if you can look under and find if that's where the drip starts. No particular reason to panic if it is, but next time you get the oil changed you could have the oil pan gasket replaced -- it's an easy and quick job if the engine's already drained of oil anyway.
