Last night was clear and calm, so we were able to get a good look at the "Supermoon." Not that my camera-phone was able to take good pictures.

Hello Supermoon

The large, bright moon rose over the Imerys Celite plant down the street, and lit things up quite nicely.

Goodbye Supermoon

When I woke up this morning, I took this parting shot as the Supermoon headed for the hills.

Oh good, I'm not the only one who had problems getting a good shot of the moon. At least it was pretty in real life.

Lisa got the good camera and took a couple of photos that turned out okay, but we haven't pulled them off the camera yet.

This is a thing which happens to people who live where there is not a solid overcast in November, where the weather does not cycle between heavy rain and only drizzling.

Or so I hear.
