Not much going on right now. This past weekend was the last quiet weekend I'm going to have for a month, as I plan to go see my mother next weekend to deal with the next tranche of paperwork on the Challenge House, and then I'll be on the road the two weeks after that. Fingers crossed that bad weather doesn't get in the way of my plans.

Hello Kevin,
A writer on a historical research site I'm know posted this inquiry yesterday. I thought perhaps you might know somewhere she could look for this information:

"Any train buffs in here? My current beat-my-head-against-the-wall research is how often the trains ran between Paris and Chartres on the Paris-Brest line in 1898. My Google-fu is failing me, and I can't find any historic train timetables that might have that information. Thanks in advance."

I continue to enjoy reading your posts here.

You bother because you are someone who knows what he's talking about and who cares :-) But it is a pain in the butt sometimes from what you post. I haven't kept an eye on the Puppies this Hugo season, but I wonder if they're grasping at straws given that they...lost.

Thanks for the reply about the trains!

Thanks for mentioning " Cook's Continental Timetable." I'll pass that on to her a possible source if she hasn't already checked it.
