Line Em Up

Late this morning I heard a truck pull up in front of the house, and, as I'd hoped, it was AT&T come to fix the sagging phone line. I told the lineman (after reassuring him that I knew it wasn't his fault) about how difficult it had been to report the broken tie-line.

With the bucket truck, putting the line back up was a few minutes' work. It looks to me that he took an extra loop out of the line and wired it up tighter to try and put a bit less strain on the anchors.
Amazingly, I never lost service during this time, and fortunately no extra-height big rigs decided to chance it and tear down the phone line for the two days it was sagging.
