Breakfast for Bunnies
Jul. 27th, 2018 08:26 pmYesterday evening, Lisa and I came out on the porch at twilight and saw this in the field next to us.

Instead of running off, the bunny just eyed us warily, and upon determining that we weren't about to try and make rabbit stew, returned to the important work of gnawing on all of the green growth in the field next to us. This suits us just fine, as everything the rabbits eat is stuff that can't burn
Lisa says she thinks this is a different kind of rabbit than the short-eared ones we normally get around here. I was thinking this was maybe just a young bunny whose ears had grown faster than the rest of its body.
