Not Quite Totally-Dry February

kevin_standleeIt took an extra day and almost all of that, but we did not quite go through February with no precipitation at all. About 10 PM last night, I looked outside and could see a few tiny flakes of snow falling on the front porch. Although the weather forecast suggested 5-10 cm accumulation was possible, we got a lot less than that.
We got somewhere between 2-3 cm accumulation on the front porch.
It was fairly wet snow, but I was able to sweep the porch without undue difficulty after taking this picture.
The snow did not stick on paved areas.
The lot to the west of the house looks better with snow on it.
I went up and had breakfast at the Wigwam, and won my breakfast back on the free-play coupon for the first half of the month. I was tempted to keep playing but decided not to press my luck beyond the $16 I'd won playing blackjack.
There are Westercon 74 tasks I wanted to do today, but the weekend mail brought me multiple things I need to resolve on both my mother and sister's estates, so letters need to be written to try and close out more loose ends. I sometimes wonder if I'm ever going to be able to close the files on the three estates for which I'm responsible.
