Bath Bear

Yesterday, Lisa and I went to Lowe's to buy stuff for the next round of home improvements. While we were walking through the store, we found a bathtub for Kuma Bear.



This would make a nice soaking tub for Bear, but he was not enthused about it. Kuma does not like baths, because unlike big bears who can swim and float, Kuma gets all waterlogged and sinks instead.

It's probably just as well that this is actually just a miniature display for a particular manufacturer of bathtubs, or else Lisa would have had us buy Kuma Bear his own little bathtub.

I'd really have been tempted to ask if they sell off the old display miniatures.

If we could get it (the Mizpah won't sell it), we'd buy Bear his own comfy chair:



This and the companion sofa are display miniatures used by a traveling furniture seller that the Mizpah picked up long ago. I think we'll need to schedule a gathering of stuffed friends at Westercon for a photo opportunity in the lounge.
