Westercon Due North Issues Grants

CWSFA, parent non-profit of Due North, has issued grants from the convention surplus. This is the text of the official announcement from CWSFA, recently posted on their web site.

All of this was decided back in November, but for various reasons I've not been allowed to announce it until this week.

Canadian Conrunning Scholarship

This is the text of a press release issued by CWSFA (Calgary Westercon) announcing that they are offering a scholarship to attend ConComCon, a convention about running SF/F/etc. conventions.

If you're thinking of applying for this, remember that you only have until April 1 to return the application. I recommend taking the text version of the application from the web site and sending that in as a text e-mail; it's faster than the other methods. The deadline for applying is April 1, so time is tight!
