Trying to Go Out on Top

Fortunately I can watch the VCR through the TV's speakers without having to do any rewiring, so I could watch today's Italian Grand Prix without having to be up at 4:30 AM. Especially with the Speed TV commentators pointing it out, you could see Michael Schumacher's body language after winning was not as exuberant as usual, and, as widely rumored, he announced during the post-race press conference that he will be retiring from Formula 1 racing at the end of the current season. Particularly if he manages to win the championship this year, he certainly will have nothing left to prove, and, if not at the top of his form -- it does appear that he's "lost a step," making mistakes that he did not used to make -- certainly near the top of it.
