Getting Better
Sep. 19th, 2006 12:31 pmAs I thought, that back strain was the rough equivalent of a neck "crick." I'm better today -- not walking around stooped over like I was yesterday. I expect I'll be okay in a few days as long as I don't do something silly.
I'm working from home today, on account of needing to be in Berkeley by 7:30 tonight and thus needing to be able to get to the Fremont BART station by 6:15 or so -- and with the work hours I'm keeping on the Australia Project, that would be bad, because I'd have to leave San Mateo by 5 PM in order to be sure of being in Fremont by 6:15. And I don't want to drive to Berkeley, particularly during commute hours.
I had to be up earlier than I have been for some days, though, because I knew I'd be working from home, but I got another water-shut-off notice for 9 AM to 2 PM today. I don't know what it is with this complex, but they do seem to have a lot of plumbing problems.
Just before hitting "update," I noticed LiveJournal's trick for Talk Like a Pirate Day. Arr! 'Tis a funny one, matey!
