Wrong Direction

In case anyone was wondering: While I am in Oregon right now and Potlatch is going on this weekend in Portland, I won't be attending. I take two days to make the drive from Mehama to the Bay Area except in dire emergencies, so I need to leave tomorrow, and today is a work day for me. Hope those of you attending have a good time.

We're Number One

My job can be frustrating at times, but overall I've always found Menlo Worldwide and our parent company (Con-way, formerly CNF, formerly CNF Transportation, formerly CF, formerly Consolidated Freightways; "Who cares; they're always changing corporation names.") to be a good place to work. And it seems others must think so, too, because Con-way was ranked number 1 in Transportation and Logistics on Fortune’s 2007 List of “America’s Most Admired Companies”.

Con-way is not the biggest player in the transportation industry, nor is Menlo the biggest third-party logistics provider in the field, but I think we are among the best, and I'm proud of the little part I do to make sure we stay that way.
