Just Like Little Kids
Dec. 25th, 2007 02:00 amAs it happens, Lisa and I were up late playing railroad board games, and consequently at about 2 AM Lisa noted that it was Christmas Day, so we could open our presents.
I gave Lisa a copy of Transit Maps of the World, a fascinating collection of maps to anyone who is a train/transit buff like we are. I received from her a railroad coupler trailer hitch that will fit into the receiver on the back of my van. (I'll have to be careful not to bump into it, though.) I expect a few double-takes when people see it. From Kuma Bear, I also received some new socks, which were very useful in this cold weather. Lisa also gave me a new Dilbert calendar for 2008.
