Multi-Tasking

In a little while, we're heading off to Lisa's dentist, where she has some major tooth work planned. We have some hope that the tooth trouble has been related to the tinnitus that has been bedeviling her, and that getting it fixed might make it possible for her to sleep again. But I also have a lot of projects hanging over me from work (not complaining), so I've loaded one of them onto my laptop and will try to get some work done on it while Lisa is in the dentist's chair. Fortunately, this isn't one of those projects where I must be online in order to access my remote modeling machine in San Mateo.

Update, 19:50: Unfortunately, Lisa's dentist has hurt her arm and wasn't available. They were able to take necessary X-rays, and I filled out the paperwork so that in the future, she shouldn't have too deal with any of the medical/billing forms to which she is deathly allergic, but now we'll have to wait until she can find a new mutually-agreeable time with her dentist.
