Keeping of the Keys

I called the storage locker place in Reno. For some strange reason, I kept getting routed to Public Storage, even though Moana Mini Storage is not part of their chain. I found an alternative number for the place (they run an apartment-management company from the same office), got through to them, and confirmed that there was nothing wrong with my account billing and that they do have a spare key to the locker. If I can't find the key they gave me, I'll forfeit the $10 deposit, but that's not really a big deal. I just have to come during office hours (8-5 M-Sa) and deal with it. And of course I have to send them $35 for the extra month of rent. What a pity; if we'd gotten to the locker about twenty minutes earlier on Saturday, the office would have been open and we could have resolved everything. As it is, I won't be able to do anything about it until I'm there again on a working day.

Key Inventory

I went through all of my key rings and while I was able to remove three keys that appear to be to locks that no longer exist, I cannot identify the key to the Reno locker. Lisa will go through her keys as well, but for now we'll have to work from the assumption that sometime after we stored stuff in the locker on the Sunday of Renovation and this past Saturday, we managed to lose the locker key. That's very annoying.

At the moment, I have more keys than ever, because I'm carrying everything for Fremont, Fernley, and the Oregon buildings as well as things like my locker in Yuba City and my office in San Mateo. Eventually I hope to be able to retire at least the Oregon keys.

No BASFA Tonight for Me

I'm too exhausted from Moving Daze and I also am expecting a call from Lisa sometime this evening to discuss Round Two for this coming weekend since she'll need to leave Fernley tomorrow if we're going to do it. Therefore, I'm skipping BASFA tonight. Y'all aren't missing much. See you in a couple of weeks, I hope.
