Yesterday was Lisa's birthday. But of course there wasn't any big thing we could do. Lisa made us a nice dinner. We'd originally hoped to have that cheesecake from the Manhattan Deli in Reno, but as I wrote, it was too difficult to get inside the casino for Lisa's comfort, especially when people started pushing up too close for her comfort. So instead she bought some cake mix, but it turned out to be brownie mix, and made a cake-like big brownie. It was all good.

Lisa's back has been giving her fits this past week, so she has been, with my encouragement, taking it as easily as she can. Maybe by her next birthday we'll be able to go do something nicer than this year.

Happy birthday to Lisa.

With the new, more contagious strain, I just ordered a package of N95 masks. They're pricy, but available now. David is very concerned about the new mutation so hopefully these will protect us better until we can be vaccinated. I'm eligible now, but Kaiser doesn't have to doses to give out.

I phoned. That was nice, though I may have kept her up too late.

Too, you should by now have found something in the P.O. box.
