Elevator: Very Broke

I don't use the elevators at our office very often, but I've hurt my ankle and am less inclined to take the stairs while I try to let it heal, so today was the first time I noticed that one of our two elevators is out of service for a few days for some heavy maintenance, as indicated by this sign:
