Home in Silence

I managed to get away from work at lunchtime today, and with the several errands I had to make, plus fuel and rest stops, I got home around 8 PM, which is pretty typical. Over the day, the congestion continued to build up and by the time I got home, I basically had no voice due to the build-up on my vocal cords. I'm taking those over-the-counter medications that I can take (not decongestants, but antihistamines and mucous-breakers) and hoping that it will break things up sufficiently for me to get my voice back.

Lisa made some chicken soup and has told me to get ready to go to bed soon and to not set an alarm tomorrow.
