Spicy Memories of Spokane

During Sasquan, the 2015 Worldcon in Spokane, Lisa and I ended up eating at one particular restaurant many times. Lisa even took other people there for lunch when I couldn't get away with her for a meal. We ended up eating at Hill's Restaurant so many times that the owner gave Lisa a big hug when we had dinner there the night before heading for home and gave us a gift of "Hill's Firecracker Spice," their house red pepper blend. I still have a tiny bit of the Hill's spice left, but that will be the last of it even should we happen to go to Spokane again, for I noticed recently that Hill's closed in 2019. Still, it gave us good memories, as we did our best to fill their restaurant by pointing other attendees of Sasquan there as well.
