Feb. 4th, 2022 11:55 amLast night, Lisa had a meeting with the three people who are her deputies working on Westercon 74 Hospitality. I was in the room, not because I wanted to micromanage, but because it was my computer and I needed to get the Zoom meeting set up for them and hang around in case Lisa needed any technical assistance, which did happen a couple of times.
Running hospitality is hard enough without a pandemic. They are working how they can still provided a good hospitality experience while also keeping people safe. It really does help that our attendance is likely to be on the lower end of our projections. Even so, we'll still be increasing the town's population by around 10% for the weekend.
