Another (Unwelcome) Sign of Spring

Yesterday evening, Lisa and I went out for a walk. By the time we got home, I knew that our short spring season here was running right along, as I had numerous mosquito bites, including one that felt like it has swollen to the size of a baseball. (It wasn't that bad.) Anyway, for the next few weeks, when we go out for walks, I'll need to apply bug spray liberally.

As it happens, mosquito season doesn't last too long most years. Summer heat is usually too much for them, and winter cold is definitely too much for the little bloodsuckers.
