That broken-down BNSF locomotive is still sitting in Fernley Yard. A couple of days ago, Lisa noticed that something had changed.

Yesterday morning, a crew van appeared as well as what I took to be a contractor's repair truck. After a while, they all left, but the doors were now closed. I speculate that the last crew before that left the doors unlocked or even open.
The locomotive is still sitting there, apparently inoperable. I thought of going over and asking them what the plans were for it were, but they left before I could get kitted up, as I would have wanted to mask up before going to ask.
