Two Days, Two Trips
May. 11th, 2022 03:20 pmThis afternoon, Lisa and I returned to Reno, this time convoying in with Lisa driving the Small Orange Pickup behind me, to drop off the Astro at the air conditioner repair shop. I had made an appointment with them, but they'd lost the appointment, although they do have me in their system. Fortunately, they still have a slot on which they can have a look tomorrow, after which they'll call me and advise me what needs to be done. I hope that repairing what I think is a coolant leak won't be too expensive. However, keeping the AC working in the summer is very important to me.
The Small Orange Pickup is having its own mechanical issues, which is why we made this trip separately from yesterday's complex one. We went straight home after dropping the minivan in Reno, stopping only to refuel the pickup at the Pilot station in Fernley. Lisa noted that the last time she refueled was in July 2020, and that gas was $2.26/gallon. Today it was $5.07.
