Murals Around Fernley

I had to go to the post office today to get stamps for the mailing of Westercon 74 Progress Report 5 (which I expect to be done on Monday). While doing so, I took pictures of a couple of the murals that are going up on buildings in Fernley.

I'm not sure what this is all about, but it's presumably some sort of town beautification project. I have no objection to this; I just have not been paying close attention to city planning lately.
