Still Boiling
Sep. 12th, 2024 02:46 pmThe boil continues to trouble me. Yesterday, shortly after taking the first dose of the antibiotics, I was hit with a cold spell. I had to climb into bed under the blankets with a bean bag that I put in the microwave for a few minutes to act as a bed warmer. Considering how overheated I normally am, this was very unusual.
Yes, I continue to test for COVID daily, particularly due to my having been exposed to someone just before leaving the UK who reported testing positive the day after I left. All tests are negative so far, but I'll keep checking for a few more days on account of the potential for it taking a few days to show up.

Tomorrow I will go back to the clinic and they will take off the dressings and evaluate the situation. It does hurt much less than it did when I first went in on Wednesday.
