Logging In

One of the suggestions that came in yesterday when I described how we have to hand-move the Pres-to-Logs from the trailer to the woodbox (only a few meters) was to build a ramp and roll the logs down it. While it's understandable, I don't think it would work.

I'm not sure what we'll do when we get to the point where we can't move the wood around like this. We'll face that challenge when it happens. But for now, these logs are a much better solution for heating the house than cord-wood. The latter is much more expensive and doesn't burn as well, with a lot more ask and I think less heat.
