Deck Putty
Sep. 22nd, 2021 08:54 pmLisa "celebrated" the end of summer by starting the next phase of the rear deck work.

After using the weed blower to blow dust and leaves off the deck (wearing her respirator, of course), Lisa applied wood putty to the spaces between the boards to fill in the cracks, using up a large crock of putty.
After the wood putty has dried for a day or so, Lisa will sand it down (again, wearing a respirator; she's not stupid) and paint it. We did buy a heavy belt sander the last time we painted the front porch, so it shouldn't take that long to do the sanding.
