This evening, Lisa and I did more research for Railway Legends, Myths, and Stories. It annoys us that we can't find a lot of the physical photos we took of some of the things about which we want to talk. In most cases, we haven't even been able to find the right photos taken by anyone else, either. A lot of what you'll see in our stories is the closest we could manage. But some of the more oddball things just are not out there. It's annoying us enough that we might schedule a trip to the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City soon to go take some pictures and video of things we know we want to include. After all, if we take the pictures, we don't have to worry about someone else's copyright.

That museum has been on my list but Covid happened. Looks like they are back in business with train rides on weekends. Hmmm.

It's worth a visit! Lisa took me once, but we didn't get a chance to ride an excursion train there. Definitely need to do that… and visit the nearby State Museum (housed in the old Mint building) on a day when they're running the coining press.
