Saturday Around the Clock
Apr. 8th, 2023 10:30 pmJust after Midnight Saturday, Lisa and I drove to the 24 hour WinCo Foods grocery store in south Reno. The store was surprisingly busy at that hour. We got home and unloaded around 2:30 AM. Lisa headed off to bed, and so did I eventually, but it was a couple of hours later. I was up again around 5 AM. I got breakfast from the Wigwam Restaurant, and spent much of the morning dozing on the sofa while watching the Masters golf tournament. In the early afternoon, I dug ashes (and a lot of nails) out of the fireplace (I let the fire go out several days ago), cleaned the glass, and vacuumed the fireplace area.
This evening, we recorded the talk-to-camera portion of the next episode of Railway Legends, Myths and Stories.

We set up the recording set in front of the fireplace, which is much easier when there isn't a fire in the fireplace. Lisa did some minor adjustments on the new studio lights. Our first impressions after looking at the "rushes" is that it does improve things.
I need to get to work as soon as possible to edit this episode, because we want it done in time to post at the first of the month, and we'll be away at Costume-Con 39 in two weeks, so I can't do video editing then.
