Come the Quail

I forgot to post this on Thursday because Kayla was busy and so was I, being head down on a Day Jobbe project. While we were fussing away on the computer, we heard the distinctive "chi-CA-go" cry and we had a look out the front door. Carefully and slowly opening the door, we got a picture.



This quail was perched in the brush pile in the East Lot trying to summon in a flock.

We just managed to get this picture before he noticed us and ran away.
