As my cold had not improved, I worked again from home, sparing my co-workers from further risk of infection. As I observed in my e-mail to my supervisor, "In the old days (five years ago!), I could have dragged myself into the office," but instead I only had to drag myself to my desk at home.

I was feeling a bit better after lunch, and went for a walk around Quarry Lakes. About 5 PM or so, though, all of the energy went out of me, and I lay down and napped for a couple of hours. Then I got up and went back to work, because I'd promised some results today and hadn't delivered them yet. Now I can finally rest with a clear mind.
