Shooting My Schedule in the Foot

So after I complained about the clinic not reading my schedule request properly, they sent me an adjusted appointment for the morning of August 24, which is the only time I'm not available that week because my department holds a staff conference call every Monday at 8 AM Pacific. I re-examined my appointment request and realized that I'd put myself down as available mornings and afternoons every day of the week. *doh*

I wrote again, apologized for my mistake, and asked for yet another new time. This time, after the fourth attempt, we gone a date and time that works.

This is why I prefer to do things over the phone instead of via computer forms for things like Doctor's Appointments and other things like that. I can say I made a mistake easier over the phone than through e-mail.

Normally I much prefer to use the online scheduling system. This is the first time things have gone wrong; I guess it's a case of when they go wrong, they go very wrong.
