Baseball Outing Proposal

For those of you who haven't joined the basfa community but might be interested in a baseball outing, I've made a proposal to organize a group outing sometime this coming baseball season to see the San Jose Giants minor league baseball club. Minor league baseball is a good bargain, with tickets starting as low as $8 and group packages in the stadium's one VIP Box including admission, program, and a barbeque only $33. The games are a lot of fun, too, if not quite as polished as the major leagues.

That sounds like a blast, and $33 for VIP seats? Put us down for two tickets.

Wow, I've got six takers for the VIP box already, and we only need twelve to make it viable. The next question will be timing: weeknights are more likely (and probably more comfortable than San Jose summer days).

Kewl idea! I think Trey & I would be interested, but it would depend on the day/time [of course].

Well, that makes ten people so far, which makes me think that we are approching viability even for the VIP Box. The next step is to start looking ahead on the calendar and find out what nights are available, then see if we can find a date that all of the people who have expressed an interest could attend.
