Lisa and I took the "Rapid" express bus (stops at the corner in front of the Atlantis, runs downtown with limited stops) from the Atlantis to downtown Reno this afternoon. This bus runs every ten minutes during much of the day. If it turns out that the Worldcon hotel shuttle isn't running often enough for you, the next stop up the bus line is the Peppermill.

Anyway, while we were downtown, we saw this sign:

On second thought, I guess they aren't really getting ready lie low until us SF types are out of town.

If that's the bus I'm thinking of, it also has free wifi while you're riding in it... although with more and more smartphones out there, that's less of a need on a bus.

I was out in Reno about a year ago for a wedding, and enjoyed downtown Reno far more than the casinos. (Sadly, I'll be missing Reno, but happily it's because of a coming child.)

Yes, but WiFi is Free. Using the 4G on my phone costs money. I still prefer WiFi.
