Merry Clockmas
Dec. 25th, 2020 11:34 amThis morning Lisa surprised me with an extra gift with which to decorate our living room.

This now hangs over our fireplace.

The clock is made of salvaged plywood and used railroad spikes, plus a US-made clock movement. (Yes, there is still at least one place in the USA that makes clock movements.) Lisa tells me that she had no idea what she planned to do with the clock movement when she had us buy it, but this is a nice use for it.
I think this goes quite well with our fireplace.
