On the Edge of the Snow
Feb. 24th, 2023 02:41 pmSnow is not the novelty here that it is in the Bay Area and Southern California. The current storm is only dropping small amounts on us here, whereas in the Sierra Nevada to the west of us, Interstate 80 was closed for hours, with the maximum closure being from the Nevada state line clear down the Colfax. This storm appears to be moving slowly, and I took pictures at intervals.

Of course, just as I finished clearing the porch and walks and started to bring in more firewood, it started snowing again.
Meanwhile, the birds seemed to appreciate our generosity.

The current forecast still shows us getting around 10 cm total out of the storm today and tonight, followed by clearing tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Lisa's foot has healed to the point where she isn't carrying a crutch with her, although she's still moving slowly, favoring the other foot, and not carrying anything heavy or making sudden moves that might put any sideways motion on the ligaments in her left foot.
