White Christmas, Barely
Dec. 25th, 2023 08:03 pmThis morning, around 4 AM according to Lisa who was up and about when it happened, a tiny bit of snow fell on Fernley. I slept in this morning, so most of it had already melted by the time I was up and about, but I did get a picture of the small amount that was left.
( In the Shade )
This morning was the first time this season that I could use the wood stove to cook eggs for my breakfast. But of course the main meal was this evening. The smell of ham permeated the house for more than two hours, while Lisa worked on the rest of the meal. Finally, I got the table set up and the Martinelli's sparkling apple-grape juice out and she brought in the food.
( Holiday Feast )
After dinner, we each had a slice of pumpkin pie. There's more of that left as well. We aren't going to starve, that's for sure.
