For the past few months (with time off for the various trips way from home), I've been undergoing treatment at a local chiropractor for compressed discs in my neck and lower spine. The immediate cause of me seeking treatment was a pinched nerve in my lower spine during the train trip to Churchill, but after I saw the X-rays, and after determining that I had enough money in my healthcare savings account to cover the the cost, I undertook to, twice a week, voluntarily put myself on the rack, or rather their spinal decompression machine. Most visits have entailed having my lower back stretched, then my neck.

Thursday will be my final visit, which will be only a neck treatment because the first treatment was lower back only, and then I'll be done. It does seem to have done me a lot of good. I wish I'd remembered to measure my height before starting treatment, because I wouldn't be surprised if I was a centimeter taller now than when I started.
