Spring Snow

My Day Jobbe hours for the past few days have had me awake as early at 2 AM, but I didn't look outside this morning, or else I might have seen a tiny bit of snow here, or at least that's what the weather forecast said to expect. In any event, later in the morning, I saw that that we had snow to the north of us.

These mountains north of Fernley don't get that much snow, unlike the Virginia and Pah Rah ranges that separate Fernley from Reno-Sparks, but there was a bit showing today. Lisa, who was outside earlier than I was, says that at dawn the snow came down all the way to the valley floor, but it must not have been much because it melted quickly.
Today was supposed to be the last day that I'll have to be up at 2 AM to support my department's European operations. The hours have been getting to me and I dropped into bed shortly after 2 PM today for several hours. Getting up at 4:30 AM (my usual schedule) is likely to seem like sleeping in.
