Spring Snow

Yesterday was the first full day of spring in Fernley, and we got some snow, although not a lot of it.

Slushy snow mixed with rain fell throughout the day.

Birds came to the feeder, possibly because they could stay out of the snow and rain that way.

The feeder was more crowded that I recall it ever getting, plus all of the birds hanging around waiting for a turn or going after feed on the ground.
There was a break in the snow that I used to run to the post office and the grocery store, but partway through the trip came a much heavier band of snow. Fortunately it wasn't enough to stick on the road, although I did spin the tires once pulling away from a stop sign. No harm done.
